Alpine Water Systems FAQ
Why should we switch from bottled water to filtered?
The simple answer is to provide an unlimited source of quality drinking water while protecting the environment. Every day millions of water bottles are produced, transported, and disposed of in North America. By investing in an Alpine Water System you can help our environment by eliminating those production, transportation, and disposal costs. With plastic taking over 300 years to degrade in nature, it is clear that the pile up of bottles in our landfills will just continue to grow unless we change our ways.
When it comes to quality of water, why is filtered better than bottled?
Before your bottled water reaches your cooler, it can become contaminated due to handling, dust, and improper storage temperature. In addition, chemicals like BPA, which is found in most plastic bottles, can leach into the water. With a filtered drinking water system there is no handling, no dust, no storage, and no opportunity for chemicals to leach into the water.
Is it true that bottled water is more expensive than filtered water?
Yes it is. With filtered water coolers you can expect to save up to 75% from your previous bottled water bills.
Where does the water come from in a bottle-less water cooler?
The water comes from the regular water supply in your workplace. A site assessment is usually needed before installation to determine the best location for the water cooler.
How do we know if we qualify for a bottle-less water cooler?
If you are constantly running out of water, lifting heavy plastic bottles, spilling water when you change bottles and paying too much for water…then YOU qualify for a bottle-less water cooler from Alpine Water Systems.
What if we can’t fit a water cooler in our space?
One way is to build a filter system into your existing tap or kitchen sink. We will work with you to provide you with the best solution possible so you can start enjoying filtered water today.
How do I change the filter?
You don’t need to. As part of the service agreement, Alpine Water Systems staff will change the filters periodically depending on your water usage.
